- Description
- A landmark of groundbreaking sustainable concepts and design, The Gap's bold 901 Cherry project in San Bruno, California, designed by architect William McDonough, is considered one of the first “green” buildings in the United States. Acting as Development Manager (in association with William Wilson & Associates), T. J. REAGAN, INC. helped drive the $60 million project— an effort that pioneered features such as planted roofs, operable windows and under floor cooling. Almost immediately after opening, 901 Cherry became a destination for architects, engineers and contractors to better understand the unique aspects of sustainably designed office buildings. It has become the standard bearer of sustainable design and innovation, hosting more than 15,000 architects since its completion.
