In April 2014, LinkedIn signed the second largest lease in San Francisco history when they agreed to occupy all of 222 Second Street, a 26 story, 450,000 sf building developed by Tishman Speyer. T. J. Reagan, Inc. and D. R. Young Associates collaborated in the project management of this extensive interior build-out which includes 20,000 sf of space dedicated to a contemporary kitchen, servery and seating as well as a state-of-the-art "All Hands" presentation room and complete Fitness Center. Phase 1 (floors 1–18) was opened for occupancy in June 2016.
In 2017, 222 Second Street was awarded LEED Platinum certification in keeping with LinkedIn's commitment to sustainability and the environment.
